Spice went retro Dancehall with the release of her latest music video for the raunchy track, Sitt’n Fi Chat. Released on September 12, the video pays homage to veteran Dancehall artiste Ninjaman, who played a pivotal role in the early stages of her career.

Spice recalls that 25 years ago, Ninjaman gave her a chance to shine by calling her on stage during one of his performances. The Music video includes nostalgic footage from this moment, where Ninjaman introduced her as the “mad one” and stating, “Show dem how yuh mad.”

The tribute to Ninjaman sets the tone for the rest of the visual, which captures a younger version of Spice reenacting the legendary performance. The music video is directed by Jay Will, who brings to life key moments from Spice’s career, from her humble beginnings to her current reign as Dancehall Queen.

The 42-year-old also pays homage to Vybz Kartel, showing several scenes of the two done by actors.

Produced by diamond-selling artiste Shaggy and Shane Hoosong, ‘Sitt’n Fi Chat‘ reimagines the iconic 1981 “Gunman” riddim by Henry “Junjo” Lawes, blending classic Dancehall sounds with Spice’s signature boldness.

The song’s lyrics, including the cheeky lines “mi breast them stiff and mi pum pum fat… this yah one fi the gyal dem all a the good pu**y gyal dem… this yah one fi the man dem all a the big cocky man dem,” have sparked buzz among fans, who have praised her for staying true to her unapologetic style.

One fan commented, “We need a Spice album strictly on vintage Dancehall riddims,” while another added, “Hard work pays off! Forget all the hate. She has been working hard for years. Let’s celebrate a hardworking woman.”
