Taxi-man Charged with Abduction and Rape of Teen

Reports on Wednesday detail the abduction and rape of a 14-year-old girl in St. Catherine by a 42-year-old taxi operator.

The incident reportedly took place on October 3, 2024, after the taxi driver picked up the listed victim along with other individuals at a location in Portmore.

The taxi operator dropped off the other occupants and before taking the listed victim home, he took her to the Braeton community where he reportedly held her down the teen and proceeded to rape her.

On November 13 the suspected was arrested and charged.
