TikToker ‘Baba Skenng’ Killed During Livestream in St. Andrew: Video

Another Jamaican TikToker has fallen victim to the dark side of going live on the app while in feud with others. Baba Skenng whose real name is Jabari Johnson, son of Reggae artiste Jah Mason, was killed during a TikTok live stream.

Johnson was fatally shot as he took part in a TikTok match Monday evening on the roadside in St. Andrew.

The video which is making rounds online now, shows Baba Skenng having a jovial time on the app when a man dressed in a black hoodie and mask walked up to Baba Skenng from behind without him knowing.

The unknown man pulled a firearm and first shot the TikToker in his head, multiple shots were heard after the TikToker fell to the ground. The shooter, fled the scene on foot.

Ironically, Baba Skenng was killed shortly after he asked his gifters for a snipe, “beg yuh a snipe deh” he said, followed by the individual walking up behind him. The other person taking part in the match was visibly shocked by the incident and took his face out of the camera at one point.

The victim was reportedly deported from overseas recently. He had over 2k followers on his TikTok page.

The shooting reportedly took place along Red Hills Road, close to the feared Park Lane and 100 Lane where a reported area leader was also shot and killed days ago by lawenforcers.

Baba Skenng’s killing come just months after the fatal shooting of Niah Gang in Old Harbour in December while also on a Livestream. 41 Busshead was also killed in Montego Bay shortly after he did a livestream in December.
