Securing spots on the latest compilation of the top-five trending list are Dancehall artistes Skippa, Jamal, Masicka, and Chronic Law. This list is based on the top five trending songs on YouTube for Jamaica at the moment.

Jamal kicks off the top-five list with his single 1 Chop, which takes the #5 spot on trending. The song is the latest release on YouTube for the deejay whose previous music video for the single Never Fear was released in April.

Produced by Ultimate Street Team Music, Dario MAGiX, and Jamal Muzik, 1 Chop was released on June 28 and has since acquired over 484,000 views and 15,000 likes on YouTube.

Masicka makes his first appearance on this list as he takes the #4 spot on trending with his single 20 Matic. The Portmore native expresses his bravado in this Mario Dunwell-produced track that was released on June 20.

The track’s music video depicts Jamaica’s now-growing illegal street racing scene and has so far amassed more than 2.2 million views.

Claiming the #3 spot is Chronic Law with his single My Way. With My Way, Chronic Law delivers another sombre, foreboding Dancehall track that the deejay has become popular for.

Following its release on June 8, My Way has acquired over 345,000 views and 15,000 likes.

Skippa takes the #2 spot in trending with his newly released track, No Prop. No Prop was produced by Solitary, Hugo Boss, and Skippa’s frequent production collaborator, Rich Together Entertainment.

The track was released on July 13 and has so far acquired over 147,000 views and 13,000 likes.

Masicka secures the #1 spot on trending music with his latest release on YouTube, All Over Again. A dominant figure in his generation of Dancehall artistes, Masicka is considered one of the top modern lyricists by many Dancehall fans.

All Over Again was released on July 11, the TJ Records track has so far acquired over 436,000 views and 28,000 likes.
