Tuggawar and Aneesa Badshaw Reignite Dancehall Classic: ‘Murder She Wrote’

Canadian born Dancehall artiste Aneesa Badshaw and English-born Dancehall artiste, Tuggawar is once again gaining momentum in the space with a collaborative release titled ‘Murder She Wrote.’ The single is a remix of the classic Dancehall track ‘Murder She Wrote’ done by the legendary duo of Chaka Demus and Pliers.

In the original version of the song, the chorus detailed a beautiful woman named Maxine, However her looks were deceiving because she had major character flaws. Tuggawar put a gritty yet comical spin on the chorus while referring to the same woman named Maxine.

Describing the lady, the deejay said in the chorus, “I know this sexy girl her name is Maxine, her bumpa round like a English Pound…but mek mi tell yuh something bout Maxine, She want badman she nuh want nuh clown.”

The beginning of the music video showed Tuggawar pulling up to the scene in a jet-black Range Rover Sport. The video is highlighted by the English-born deejay spitting lyrics to his vixen while Aneesa was dancing and showing of her figure along with dishing out some spicy lyrics of her own.

The multi-talented Aneesa Badshaw is a Canadian born to Guyanese parents and she wears many hats in the entertainment industry. She does it all from being an artiste to being a director.

She has also collaborated with a number of dancehall artistes such as, Charly Black and Pamputtae just to name a few.

Tuggawar on the other hand has always been on the Dancehall scene, from sharing stages with the likes of Vybz Kartel and Spice to performing at the legendary Dancehall event ‘Sting’.

With an interesting story about being imprisoned in Jamaica, the UK Based deejay is regular seen online literally kicking-out at the corrupt system and persons.
