Vybz Kartel Is A Hard Act to Follow

Iconic artiste manager Rohan Butler is basking in the much deserved glory that comes with discovering and developing one of the most successful and talented Dancehall entertainers of all time. His calm demeanor provides shade to his inate vision and creativity that enables him to unlock greatness from burgeoning new talents.

22 years ago, he signed none other than the ‘Worl’Boss’ himself, Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel and now he has signed an exciting new talent by the name of Yung Ras and according to Butler, he is the next new star in Dancehall.

“Words can not express how proud and happy I felt when I watched Vybz Kartel create history at Freedom Street. Big up Bounty Killer for acknowledging my contribution to the rise of Vybz Kartel. What a mega star he has become! Now Vybz Kartel is a tough act to follow, which is why it took me 22 years to sign another artiste despite countless artistes reaching out.

However, I was recently introduced to an extraordinary talent by the name of Yung Ras and believe me, I was so impressed with his talent and star quality that I had to sign him immediately. People remember Butler did tell unu dis Yung Ras is the next big thing out of Jamaica, ” Rohan Butler stated.

Vybz Kartel’s highly anticipated return to the stage after 13 years never disappointed his thousands of supporters who packed the national stadium to enjoy an epic performance, which lasted over 3 hours. Several other local and international stars made cameos such as Busta Rhymes, Skillibeng, Bounty Killer, Spice, Popcaan, Chronic Law and most of old past members of his Portmore Empire collective.

According to Butler, his focus is now on Yung Ras, who is currently promoting a cluster of new singles including Wine Slow, Cut Dem Off, Drugs Life.
