Vybz Kartel’s Daughter, Adi’Anna is Working on Becoming a Doctor

Over the weekend, a photo of Vybz Kartel’s first daughter, Adi’Anna Ashanti Palmer, surfaced online. The image shows the 18-year-old posing proudly in medical scrubs in front of the brand-new 2025 MINI SUV that her father gifted her months ago.
Adi’Anna, who graduated from Wolmer’s Girls High School in 2024, is charting a path very different from her father and brothers. Having passed all eight of her CSEC subjects in 2024, she has made it clear she has no plans to pursue music.
Instead, she is passionate about a career in medicine. Since March 2025, the ambitious teen has been vlogging about her journey, having posted two videos so far.
In her first vlog, released months ago, she stated, “Anything medicine, that’s what I’m interested in 100%.” She also revealed her ultimate dream is to become a surgeon, although she is still exploring the specific field.
“Surgery specifically, that’s where it’s at for me… I’m not 100% sure which type of surgery I want to go into but it’s definitely, definitely surgery,” she explained, mentioning she is also curious about paediatrics or anesthesiology.

Reacting to the new photo, fans of the Worl’Boss have been commenting on the photo on Facebook, “Gaza it is more than a plaza, it’s a lifestyle moment, greatness,” while another added, “A lot more aspiring doctors are all over Jamaica so why no recognition — Irie saxons can’t help themselves.”
Back in September 2024, Vybz Kartel shared that his daughter would be continuing her studies at Hillel Academy, Jamaica’s largest international school.

Kartel, also known as the Worl’Boss, has seven children in total, five sons and two daughters, with Adi’Anna being the eldest girl.
