This video surfaced online Thursday evening, showing a police officer getting hit off his bike by another biker at an intersection in presumedly the corporate area.
The short video clips show the bikers, side by side for a brief moment, before the police officer and his bike went crashing to the ground and the second rider continue riding away from the scene.
Notably, the light was on red as both bike crossed the intersection. A car had to break suddenly to avoid hitting the officer, who tumbled across the road. He was seen getting back onto his feet.
Following the accident, eyewitness can be heard saying that the officer had been trying to stop the biker for a while in a lengthy chase which seemingly started along Mandela Highway.
The incident was captured by a car’s dashcam and shared to X by Jeffreels_. No time stamp is on the video, hence it’s unclear which day it took place, however, it’s believed to be very recent.
