The mother of three shared that the first time her eldest child left their Westmoreland home was in January. The teen, Mackada ‘Jada’ Sterling, had told her that she was going to visit her younger sister at her stepmother’s house.

However, Mackada’s mother said she was later informed by the stepmother that the teen was not there. After she did not hear from Mackada that Saturday evening, the mother said she reported her missing the following morning.

According to the mother, Mackada went to the stepmother’s home that Sunday evening. She later told her mother that she went out with friends without informing her because she knew she would not allow it.

“Shi seh dat every Saturday, har friends dem from Green Island school dem meet up fi burger and pizza and dem guh out fi weekend. And di reason why she neva tell mi becaw me nah guh sen har,” the mother shared.

After that incident in January, there was no problem until recently when the teen did not return home after she left for school. Mackada’s mother said she claimed that she was at her stepmother’s house but that was quickly proven to be a lie.

“Mi voice note har and seh to har seh, ‘Jada, you’re not at your stepmother and anyweh yuh deh come home.’ Shi read di message shi nuh reply. Then shi turn off di phone,” the mother said.

She further shared that the teen began sending her messages like she had been kidnapped.

“Listen dis lady, yuh naw get back har. Suh stop text dis phone. Likkle much tings shi fada do. A my time now. A kill mi a guh kill har suh just gwahn talk. Yuh know how mi a watch har?” the message reportedly stated.

However, the mother expressed that she was not convinced. She highlighted that her daughter had left the home with a pair of slippers to change into. Speaking on the PopEye NewsLynx YouTube channel, she shared that Mackada went on to tell her grandmother that she was treating her badly.

The high schooler has since expressed a desire to live with her grandmother. But the overwhelmed mother said she has no plans on keeping her when she gets her back.

“Mi text mi mada and seh yes, tell him seh him can come up there, and den mi will teck it from there. To be honest, I’m not going to keep her. Mi have high blood pressure. Mi cyah afford fi Jada come kill mi off before time and a mi alone affi a teck care a Jada,” the mother said.

In addition to faking her kidnapping, the mother disclosed that Mackada faked going to school for two weeks. The teen also had to be taken to the doctor for abdominal pain after engaging in sexual intercourse.

The concerned mother says the teen is still missing.
