The XXXTentacion murder trial, set to start in 2023, may feature eyewitness testimonies. This list, which includes Tekashi 6ix9ine, Drake, and several other well-known names, was provided by the defenders of one of the men implicated in the 2018 killing.

There are claims that Drake was included as a witness on the list because he had a social media feud with the deceased XXXtentacion before his death. Drake allegedly enraged X because he presumed the Canadian-born icon imitated his flows from his debut hit “Look at Me!” on a track called “KMT.

Subsequently, before the murder of XXXtentacion, a mysterious message emerged, stating, “If anyone tries to kill me, it was @champagnepapi,” tagging Drake’s Instagram username. X, on the contrary, later revealed that his Instagram account was compromised.

Prosecutor Pascale Achille submitted a motion on Thursday, calling the defence into question and declaring that the defence lawyers failed to provide addresses or contact information for the prominent celebrities. Ski Mask-The Slump God and Tankhead666, both personal confidants of the late rapper, were also on the list.

Though many well-known performers are included on this list, it is not assured that they will testify in court. Allegedly, prosecutors or attorneys for these witnesses could possibly urge a judge to exclude them from the prosecution given that there was no solid evidence connecting them to the murder.

In Broward County, Florida, the XXXtentacion court case is set to begin on January 9, 2023.
