Amid scrutiny over Vybz Kartel and Spice’s intimate performance at the Freedom Street concert last Tuesday, his fiancée, Sidem Ozturk, remains unfazed and even sends praise to the proclaimed “Queen of Dancehall.”
The performance, which featured both entertainers getting up close and personal while performing their hit collaboration, Romping Shop, was one of the standout moments of the night. Known for her high-energy stage presence, Spice definitely brought the heat to the stage.
At one point whilst performing the track, she called out to Sidem saying, “Sidem turn weh yuh face, turn weh uh face,” as she propositioned her body to provocatively dance with Kartel.

In the midst of the controversy, Sidem appears completely unbothered and has also lauded Spice’s performance in a social media post. She expressed admiration for her, speaking highly of the “energy and the dancing.”
“It was lovely to meet you too @spiceofficial. I absolutely loved the performance, the energy and the dancing. When the Queen of Dancehall acknowledges you, then come and chat to me. Till then, leggo we tshiiiiiiiiiirt,” Sidem’s post reads.
