Vybz Kartel is set to perform at the renowned Summerjam Festival in Germany on July 5, 2025. As one of Europe’s most prominent celebrations of Reggae and Dancehall, the event will highlight Kartel’s dynamic catalog of hits, performed live in front of an international crowd.
The “Fever” deejay sent a message to his fans, urging them to come out and show their support for his performance. “Member Germany come celebrate with me at Summerjam in Cologne on July 5, 2025, open live,” Kartel shared.
Jamaican artistes such as Beenie Man, Shenseea, Etana, and several others are also scheduled to perform at the event.
The Summerjam Festival takes place on the grounds of Fühlinger See, a lake just outside of Cologne. Over the years, it has featured performances from some of the biggest names from Jamaica, including Popcaan, Busy Signal, Ky-Mani Marley, Julian Marley and Beenie Man among many others.
Kartel’s return to the stage after a 13-year hiatus at the Freedom Street concert on New Year’s Eve saw where he is able to handle performing on stage despite health issues. His performance at Summerjam Festival later this year is expected to yield the same results.
