Asafa and Alyshia Powell Show Off Their Elegant Fashion for Ghanaian Wedding – See Photos
Retired Jamaican sprinter Asafa Powel and his wife Alyshia Miller-Powell were a matching pair in green as they rocked elegant looks for a Ghanaian wedding.
Asafa, who had his nuptials with the Ghanaian-born Alyshia in 2019, has been a busy groomsman, participating in at least three weddings in the past three months.
Asafa took to social media over the weekend to showcase his deep forest green ensemble for what he dubbed his final wedding of the year, with Alyshia, a bridesmaid, later sharing photos of her and her husband.
Captioning the photos, Alyshia wished the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness and joked that Asafa struggled with the heat from the capital city.
She rocked an emerald green dress with gold accessories as well as a black embellished gown for the wedding, which was comprised of both a traditional Ghana marriage ceremony and a modern white wedding.
The model and mom of two also shared solo photos from the wedding, which was held in the Ghanaian capital, Accra, where she was born.
