Asafa and Wife Alyshia Show Off Their Best Dance Moves During Getaway with Friends – Watch Videos
Celebrated Jamaican athlete Asafa Powell continues to enjoy his retirement from the track. The retired sprinter showed off some of his dance moves at a getaway with his wife, Alyshia Miller-Powell, and some of their friends.
The outspoken athlete has never been one to mince his words, shy away from letting outsiders know what is on his mind, or show how he and Miller-Powell live their lives, either here in Jamaica with their sons Ameike and Azhaf Powell or while they travel abroad.
After more than 20 years on the track, the Olympian celebrated his 40th birthday and retirement in November 2022. Powell was recently honoured for his years on the track at the RJRGLEANER Sports Foundation National Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year Awards, where he was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Powell has been relishing his retirement from athletics and has remained busy, starting the Fast Lane Lifestyle podcast with his wife as well as enjoying the occasional getaway. The former sprinter recently shared snippets from a fun getaway with friends.
He and Miller-Powell thoroughly enjoyed themselves, showing off several dance moves as they vibed to dancehall and afrobeat music, including Skillibeng’s Blessing Me and Burna Boy’s Last Last. The couple had attended the Nigerian singer’s concert in December alongside Olympic gold medalist Elaine Thompson-Herah.
