Powell currently holds the Guinness World Record for the most competitive 100m sprint races completed in under 10 seconds.

Between June 2004 and September 2016, the former athlete achieved 97 races under the 10-minute mark.

Bolt has the second-highest sub-10 times for Jamaican men, having completed 52 throughout his illustrious career, according to reports.

The remainder of the top 10 consists of Yohan Blake, 46; Nesta Carter, 29; Oblique Seville, 20; Ackeem Blake, 13; Nickel Asmeade, 11; Kemar Bailey-Cole, 11; Kishane Thompson, 10; and Michael Frater, with 7 sub-10 races.

The stats have been making rounds on Twitter.

Powell has held the world record for the 100m twice in his career, 9.77 seconds in 2005 and 9.74 seconds in 2007.

His personal best (PB) of 9.72 seconds, which he set in Lausanne, Switzerland, in September 2008, is the fourth fastest time in history, behind Yohan Blake, Tyson Gay, and Bolt.
