Aunty Donna Spends Almost $500,000 on Care Packages for Her Community – See Photos

After baking up a storm for fans who were eager to sink their teeth into her popular Nyam Bad Fruit Cake during the Christmas holiday, Donna Gowe is closing out the year by spreading joy in her community with care packages.

The widely known public figure, who built her reputation on her delicious cakes and philanthropy, took to social media with photographs of her latest charitable act, which featured 80 bags of goodies. The bags were snapped, showing them laid out with groceries and toiletries before they were later distributed to residents within her district.

Inside them were items such as fish, chicken, snacks, flour, rice, and more, all of which cost her quite a considerable amount of money. This donation was made possible thanks to her cake sale, which saw Donna’s famous cakes being shipped locally and internationally.

Along with the care packages, Aunty Donna also donated $5000 towards aiding the residents with purchasing seasons. To sum up the cost of her large donation, Aunty Donna spent almost $500,000.

Accompanying the photos was a note that emphasised that despite some individuals criticising the cake for its high price, the success of her cake sale allowed her to provide food items and necessities to those in need.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time she has extended her assistance to the community following her Christmas cake sale.

In reaction to the post, many IG users commended the entrepreneur for her kindness, with one saying, “She is book and busy doing good in her neighborhood she is one in a million and bless ❤️.”
Another wrote, “Keep blessing others the more you give the more you receive.”
