“This a one a the most heartbreaking thing fi reach mi ever inna mi life… sad sad… very sad… mi nah stop talk!,” Bashy outlines in a video that is now making rounds online. The video was recorded as he visited his daughter’s grave hours after her burial.

While venting, the grieving father details that his messages have been seen without a reply as it relates to communicating with the relevant authorities. Calling out “Tufton” by name, Bashy expresses that the minister not showing up to the funeral further shows that he does not care about the situation.

Bashy declared that the minister seemingly has been carrying feelings because he, Chronic Law and Popcaan recently attended a People’s National Party(PNP) event in St. Ann and supported the party while shading the Jamaica Labour Party(JLP).

In the video, he clarified that he’s specifically directing his statements towards Minister Tufton because the minister is trying to “polish off and cover things” after the child died. Bashy highlighted that he understands that something seemingly went wrong as a result of the surgery, but he was told otherwise, to cover up the fault.

“The man reach out to mi one time and when mi decide seh mi ago link the man, the man guh pan TV and seh, the staff inna threat…the man not even try fi seh condolence… it touch mi soul and it bun mi heart.”

“Me find out seh things nuh right… and a nuh just me alone me a talk fah… the wul a dem know weh gwaan, dem know seh certain thing nuh go good… the doctor dem fi know seh nuh body nuh perfect, but them affi be straightforward with people when certain things guh dung.”

Bashy also detailed that his birthday is coming up at the end of the month and he had planned to take his daughter to Disney World.

The father outlines that he is speaking out to get “justice” for his daughter and other children who have suffered from the lack of equipment at the hospital. “We need the equipment them inna the hospital bredda,” he said to Tufton in the video.

He recalled being advised to get his daughter’s surgery done locally after he inquired about getting a referral to take her overseas for the surgery. As per Bashy, the hospital insisted on doing the surgery despite not having the necessary equipment.

Aside from his video, he also shared a photo of himself at the graveside with the caption below:

Alexandrianna passed away in late 2024. After calling out the authorities, Bashy thanked all the people who have been supporting him throughout his current situation.

“Nuff love and respect to everybody weh show mi the strength and energy and keep mi up through the thing…Neva plan fi affi look fi mi daughter dah way yah… dem affi si mi cry, si mi pain,” Bashy also stated.
