Bashy’s Daughter ‘Alexandrianna Jones’ Funeral: Attended by Popcaan, Chronic Law

On Sunday, January 26, Alexandrianna Jones who is the daughter of Chronic Law’s manager ‘Bashy,’ was buried with many loved ones attending the funeral in support of Alexandrianna and her family.
The funeral took place in the countryside, seemingly in St. Thomas where Bashy and Chronic Law are from. Notably, Chronic Law was present at the sending-off, and Popcaan was also present, being surrounded by many people at one point.
Popcaan can be seen in video clips talking with associates after the burrial. “Yeah wuleep a pain involve but the glory inevitable yo hear,” said Popcaan at one point.
The circumstances surrounding Alexandrianna’s death is controversial with Bashy stating that his daughter who was four years old died after being neglected, late last year at the Bustamante Hospital for Children (BCH).
Jones accused the doctors of trying to cover up the cause of death. He said the doctors at Children’s Hospital told him his daughter was brain dead, but the autopsy revealed she died from a blood clot, which the pathologist stated could have been prevented with blood thinners.
She had reportedly been at the hospital for treatment related to a tumor.
For the funeral, Alexandre was dressed in pink and placed in a glass casket, hence she was fully visible while closed.
At one point a female dressed in pink, seemingly Alexandrianna’s mother, broke down beside the casket and someone had to pick her up. Bashy also broke down in tears shortly after, while looking at his daughter through the glass, before it was lowered into the earth.

Since her death, the Jones family established the Alexandrianna Jones Foundation to honour her memory and seek justice for her passing.
