Beenie Man Shows Off New Simma Dance – Watch Video
While fans await the release of the Simma album, Beenie Man demonstrated a bit of what is expected to be in his seventeenth studio album through dance. The album, which was delayed for over two years, is slated to be released on August 31.
A behind-the-scenes shot from what seems to be a music video shoot for a song on the album was released Saturday night. The clip features both Beenie Man and Dancing King Shelly Belly showing off their dancing prowess while doing the new Simma dance move.
The Simma dance requires both hands to be extended in front of the dancer, with one hand twirling and the other positioned to point straight ahead. The two entertainers took turns demonstrating this dance move while busting different moves as Beenie Man’s voice deejayed in the background.
The Who Am I hitmaker did a lot of footwork while dancing in the video that was posted on Shelly Belly’s Instagram page. The video attracted comments such as “Dah one yah nah go normal” and “The King.”

The Simma album will come almost seven years after his last album, Unstoppable. In a press release to Dancehallmag, Beenie Man said that the upcoming album features diverse songs of Dancehall, Reggae, Afrobeat, and Drill, which will showcase his versatility.
