Veteran entertainer Bounty Killer took the stage at the Bounty Killer and Friends show last night, but in a moment of humour, he seized the opportunity to playfully poke fun at his past former associate Elephant Man.

During his performance, the “Warlord” acknowledged several figures in the Dancehall scene whom he worked with in his younger days. Among the names he mentioned was Elephant Man, but with a playful twist.

“If yuh love Bounty, yuh haffi love Dulas… yuh haffi love Harry Toddler, and yuh haffi love Elephant, although him no so relevant cause me a bad man,” Bounty Killer joked, causing the audience to burst into laughter.

He also took a comedic jab at their last encounter at Vybz Kartel’s Freedom Street concert. Bounty Killer recalled the moment he saw Elephant Man, “Man see me a Vybz Kartel show and a gwaan like him… hey likkle boy, don’t let me juk yuh inna yuh eye.”

Over the years, the two have shown a ‘love hate’ relationship with both artistes being monumental in the Dancehall scene, their rivalry which was often fueled by personal issues and professional competition is once again a topic for discussion.

Several years ago, after their inital fallout, the two worked together on tracks such as “How We Do It” and “Survivor,” signaling that their differences is always reparable.
