Busy Signal Shades Govana- Says He Is The Trendsetter
Veteran dancehall artiste Busy Signal appears to throw shades at fellow artiste Govana.
The ‘One More Night’ hitmaker took it to his Instagram on Thursday, May 7th, 2020 where he uploaded a spinet of one of his hit series titled ‘ REASONING’ and claim to have set the trend for these types of vocals in dancehall.
“3 Years Ago Today May 7th. #ReasoningSeriesAnniversary Giving thanks šš¾šš¾šš¾ #TrendSetting” Busy wrote.
Many fans seem to be in agreement with Busy Signal saying he is definitely the trendsetter for these types of vocals in dancehall, whilst others argued that several artistes before him the likes of Professor Nuts, Spragga Benz, Bling Dawg and Vybz Kartel have engaged in this type of ‘reasoning’ before the Turf artiste.
Govana released his part two to ‘HAMANTS CONVO’ five days ago which has already amassed over 1.5 million streams on YouTube. Part one was released roughly three months ago which had the internet buzzing and so far the track has garnered over 8 million streams on YouTube.
One thing, we can all agree that both artistes songs REASONING and HAMANTS CONVO are two great concepts that fans enjoy. However, would you say that Govana coined his concept from Busy? Is Busy the real trendsetter?
