Cardi B Addresses Offset’s Leaked Message, Says They’ve Been “Peaceful for a Week”

On December 14, 2024, leaked private Instagram messages between Cardi B and Offset appeared online, sparking speculation about the state of their relationship. The following day, Cardi addressed the controversy on Twitter Spaces, clarifying that the leaked messages are old and as a result of hacking.
Dismissing any confusion about their recent dynamic. Speaking candidly, she revealed the two had been getting along: “I would never get back with this n**a, but I’m not even gonna lie, we’ve been peaceful for a week. So, we like the energy, it’s peaceful for a week. I don’t bother you, you don’t bother me.”
Despite their tumultuous history, Cardi and Offset were seen celebrating Offset’s 33rd birthday together in Miami on December 15. Videos from the event showed the pair laughing, dancing, and throwing money, signaling an amicable—if temporary—truce.
The leaks follows claims from Offset that his account was hacked, after HotNewHipHop reported a screenshot from March 2024 in which Offset accused Cardi of infidelity. Cardi, in turn, called out Offset’s own alleged indiscretions.
The texts detail Cardi B apparently accusing Offset’s mother of stealing from her, the texts also mentioned that Offset has/had an relationship with someone named Pree.
Cardi B has leaked their personal text messages in the past but outlines that it’s not her this time.
Cardi B and Offset’s rocky marriage, which began secretly in 2017, has seen its share of ups and downs. Cardi B filed for divorce in July 2024, their second public split after a prior attempt in 2020. The couple share three children: Kulture, Wave, and their newborn daughter.
While their romantic future remains uncertain, peace, for now, seems to reign.
