Cardi B Dubs Spice the G.O.A.T.; Bounty Shares Statement

American rapper Cardi B dubbed Queen of Dancehall Spice the G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time) on Friday. A lover of Jamaican Dancehall music, the Bodak Yellow artiste was reacting to a Yardhype report on Spice’s single Fight Over Man, highlighting the 20th anniversary of the song’s release this year.

The post has been getting tens of thousands of likes and hundreds of comments with Cardi B being one of the many persons who have commented on the nostalgic post. Making a bold statement without using a word, Cardi B left a goat emoji under the post.

Both Cardi and Spice have shown admiration for each other over the years. Their careers also has similarities with the two being controversial outspoken females who has an estranged relationship with their baby’s father.

Veteran deejay and long-time supporter of Spice, Bounty Killer, also reacted to the report, resharing a video clip from the post. Bounty praised Spice’s rise in the industry, which he has watched unfold over the years.

The Benz and Bimma artiste also shared that he told her from the beginning that she would one day be the Queen of Dancehall.

“Kudos to you girl. I watches it all unfold. I’m so proud to believed from that day until this present day. It feels lke prophesying something. I told you that you would became the Dancehall Queen one day. God is the greatest,” Bounty wrote.

Spice took to the comment section to express her gratitude to the artiste and shared that he saw her potential long before she released Fight Over Man.

“It’s the fact that I met you long before I even recorded this song and you saw in me what I didn’t even know I had. So Grateful,” Spice stated.

Bounty went on to state that he and their fellow friend and artiste Cham could see her passion back then. He added that she didn’t fail to impress veteran music producer Dave Kelly, who produced the Eighty-Five riddim that Fight Over Man is featured on.
