Emerging Reggae artiste FyaVerse teamed up with producer Chevobeatz to send a message to the “corrupt system” in this release titled ‘Time’s Dread’. The song calls out the government system for its role in contributing to the heightened crime and violence in society.

FyaVerse laid the vocals while Chevobeatz who is a Dutch music producer made sure the musical endeavour was put together and put out to the public. Laid on a groovy Reggae beat, FyaVerse uses the track to raise awareness about media coverups that are in favour of those in power.

The single also addresses issues such as police brutality, unfair and unjust treatment of the poor as well as wrongful imprisonment while also advocating for a “change right now.”

Released on January 30, ‘Time’s Dread’ has been racking up impressive views on Reggaeville’s YouTube channel where it was premiered. Listeners have also been reacting to the positive message with one person stating, “Jeezam! Dis a absolutely brilliant song. Very nice vibes,” another person on YouTube commented, “So authentic and talented! I loved FyaVerse lyrics. Big production Big Up.”

Some lyrics: “Mi si blood a shed, man a dead Street getting hotter and the metal getting red. Babylon corrupt, a mek the youths nah hold a meds. Time is getting harder and the place is getting dread… Boblylon a kill innocent youth and the broadcast media dem a hide up the truth.”
