One fan’s inattention on stage was seemingly too much for American R&B artiste Chris Brown, who tossed the woman’s phone away into the crowd during his performance.

As he continues to travel across Europe for his Under The Influence tour, Brown has had a difficult time staying away from negative press. The artiste was recently engaged in a tit-for-tat with former Cheetah Girls/3LW singer Kiely Williams, who was a vocal participant in the backlash Brown received regarding his domestic abuse history.

A group of black women then insinuated that the artiste only allowed white women into his VIP section at the club after they were allegedly turned away. Brown rebuffed those allegations, and one of the women in the video later backtracked her statements, explaining that the incident had nothing to do with the artiste.

The Under The Influence singer’s latest social media controversy stems from a video of one of his recent performances, during which he threw away a fan’s phone. Brown invited the woman onstage during his concert in Berlin, Germany. While he was performing his single Take You Down, the fan was apparently more preoccupied with her cell phone than with Brown and his dancers’ choreography.

The singer has been inviting fans on stage during his routine while on tour and reportedly attempted to put the mobile device down when she first reached for it as he continued to sing. But neither that nor a lap dance was apparently enough to garner the woman’s full attention. It is unclear if she was filming herself on stage, but Brown soon reached his limit and tossed the device offstage.

Brown later shared a video of the incident on Instagram, writing, “F**k DAT PHONE.” But according to the singer, the woman received her phone after the show.
