Chris Gayle has joined the list of fashionable celebrities who have become fixtures at Formula 1 race events, with the former West Indies cricketer sharing on Monday that his outfit was voted the best at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the 24th and final race of the 2024 Formula One World Championship, drew a massive crowd on Sunday as the F1 season came to a close.
Gayle travelled to the United Arab Emirates’ city before the event was scheduled to take place at the Yas Marina Circuit.
The former athlete can be seen posing alongside Brazilian football great Ronaldinho Gaúcho in a photo shared on his Instagram page on December 3.
Gayle also enjoyed some time at the seafront at a yacht party before the weekend’s big event.
Gayle went on to share his race-day look, which consisted of a blue and gold printed silk ensemble and shared multiple photos from the yacht dock and the Yas Marina Circuit.
Captioning the post, Gayle highlighted his tailors, Suitfreek-Tailors and said that their outfit had been voted #1.
In May, Gayle was named one of the best-dressed celebrities at the Monaco Grand Prix by GQ Australia.
