Chrisean Rock Interrupts Prayer Circle Moments Before Reported Fight

Following accusations that Chrisean Rock violently attacked one of Tamar Braxton’s employees at one of her shows last year, recently acquired footage shows Rock interrupting a prayer circle at the same event.

The controversial reality TV star was accused in November of assaulting Tamar’s backup singer, James Wright Chanel, after she allegedly became upset that she would not be able to perform at the show. Le Troy Davis, a member of Tamar’s team, accused Chrisean of arriving at the concert drunk and smelling of marijuana.

Adding to those accusations of her poor behaviour, newly obtained footage from TMZ Hip Hop shows Chrisean interrupting a prayer circle between Tamar, her sister Toni Braxton, and her staff members, including Wright Chanel. In the video, Tamar can be seen leading the prayer backstage when Chrisean unexpectedly enters and causes her to momentarily stop as she squeezes her way between Tamar and Toni.

Toni appears visibly confused and proceeds to fold her hands behind her back, forcing Chrisean to hold on to her elbow instead of her hand when the prayer recommences. However, Toni went on to acknowledge her after the prayer.

After the prayer, everyone reportedly laughed off the interruption and did a pre-show shot with Chrisean. In spite of that, Chrisean allegedly went on to assault Wright Chanel, punching him in the face so severely that he needed medical attention.

Chrisean later denied those allegations and dismissed reports that she was never scheduled to perform.
