Damian Marley, Chronixx, Morgan Heritage ,J Boog, Common Kings Nominated for Best Reggae Album Grammy

The nominees for the best Reggae Album in the 60th Grammy awards have been revealed.

In the Best Reggae album category, Morgan Heritage (Avrakedabra), Chronixx (Chronology), Damian Marley (Stony Hill), J Boog (Wash House Ting) and Common Kings (Lost in Paradise) are the nominees.

This is the second Grammy nomination for Morgan Heritage after he won in 2016 for Strictly Roots.

Damian Marley is going for his third Best Reggae album win, having won for Half Way Tree (2002) and Welcome to Jamrock (2005).

This is the second nomination for Hawaiian reggae artiste J Boog. His Rose Petals (EP) was nominated last year and the first nomination for both Chronixx and California reggae band Common Kings.

The Grammy Awards will take place on January 28 in New York City.
