Deva Bratt says he’s Ready to End Feud with Kartel but…

Former Gaza crew member Sheldon Owen Smith, better known as Deva Bratt, says, “Anything is possible” as it relates to himself and Vybz Kartel getting back on speaking terms. He details that he has a lot of respect and ratings for Vybz Kartel. However, he declares that the fellow Portmore deejay is telling lies about him.

“People mi rate the teacher a mi dawg… seriously respect the youth… him a great musician bad artiste… but know what, him mek wrong choices, don’t diss Deva di Bratt and tell lie pan mi, i will fuck yo shit up, mi a bad people and yuh know that.” He also expressed that despite having ‘love’ for the teacher, he is not begging any friend from him.

Further on he highlighted that he would want to share a stage with Vybz Kartel again and if called for Freedom Street performance, he would turn up and perform alongside the deejay on stage.

Nevertheless, The Fix caused him to feel some way about them reunited. Deva Bratt stated that had Vybz Kartel not talked ill about him in the viral interview, he would have flown down to attend the show. He also revealed that he watched the show via live stream and thinks it was a “great show” and “historical moment for Vybz Kartel” despite things could have been better organised.

The Bratt also spoke on several other topics most of which included Vybz Kartel including who is the current ming of the Dancehall, he stated, “all of us are kings but… just give Yellowman fi him kingship fi the time when he was reigning, after pick a time when Beenie Man was reigning, and then right now who run Dancehall who have most the hot songs its undisputed my guy, Vybz Kartel.”

He outlines that for him, there are three kings and there will be another king after Vybz Kartel.
