Director/Producer Dies From Cardiac Arrest At UHWI Hospital

Popular Dancehall music video director and producer, Tevin ‘Lumba’ Taylor of Blacq Road Media Film reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest and died on Sunday morning at approximately 3 a.m. at the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI).

Reports are that Taylor felt ill hours after purchasing chicken from a jerk vendor in St. Andrew. He began to experience diarrhoea and vomiting and was initially transported to the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH), however, doctors referred him to UHWI for treatment.

Taylor’s cousin, Miguel Wealthy, spoke with the Jamaica Observer in which he stated that entertainers from the music fraternity are mourning the producer’s death.

Throughout his career, Taylor filmed music videos for artistes such as Nation Boss, ‘Solidarity’ and ‘Dream’, Silk Boss, ‘Pain‘, Skillibeng, ‘Love Shoot‘, Kash ‘Feel Secure‘, and Chronic Law, ‘Garrison Above’.
