Drake Samples Kim Kardashian Talking about Divorce from Kanye West in New Song – Listen
The Canadian rapper, Drake, has revealed an upcoming song, which surprisingly features a sample of Kim Kardashian’s voice. The song, reportedly titled Rescue Me, was previewed on an episode of Sound 42’s The Fry Yiy Show on SiriusXM Radio.
Kim Kardashian was heard talking about her divorce from Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, in the preview of the new song. “I didn’t come this far just to come this far and not be happy. Remember that,” Kim said.
Drake and Ye have feuded for over three years but ended their beef in November 2021. There is no telling if the sound bite from the 2021 series finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians will stir up new drama.
In the song, the God’s Plan artiste raps about a woman rescuing him from his current life and settling down with her.
“I need someone to be patient with me, someone to get money, would not take it from me. They don’t even need to be as famous as me… Come and rescue me,” Drake raps in the track.
The release date for the track, produced by BNYXX, has not yet been announced.
