Jamaican sprinters giving back to children this Christmas continues with world-class athlete Elaine Thompson-Herah as she returns to her hometown in Banana Ground, Manchester.
This year, Elaine teamed up with NCB, Puma, Flow, and her own foundation to host her annual Christmas treat to put a smile on numerous kids’ faces this Christmas season.
She posted highlights from the treat to her Instagram account with the caption, “Photos from my annual Christmas treat in my community Banana Ground. A big thank you @puma @fastelainefoundation @flowjamaica @ncbjamaica for making it possible each year. Thanks also to my friends and family merry Christmas 🎄🎁.”
The media from the treat shows Elaine and company dressed in red and black with their Santa hats, handing out gift bags filled with goodies, snacks, shaved ice, and participating in other activities.
Children could also be seen lining up and enjoying the rock climbing wall and a bounce house that could be seen in the background of the posted photos.
