Double Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah is back in training as she prepares for the 2024 athletic season, which will coincide with the Paris Olympic Games.
On Monday, Thompson-Herah gave fans a look into her first day of training for her return to the track, which included an arduous workout that left her on the ground.
Thompson-Herah’s video, which was shared via her Instagram page, included a glance at her routine, commencing with her departure from her home before daybreak and then her warm-up session on a hill.
After concluding her warm-up, which consisted of jogging and various stretches, the athlete began the most difficult part of her training, sprinting uphill.
Viewers of the video, such as Thompson-Herah’s fellow athlete Briana Williams and friend Alyshia Miller-Powell, wife of Asafa Powell, laughed at the sprinter’s hilarious voiceover.
