Emergency Clean-Up underway In Mobay

[Sharingbuttons]Mayor of Montego bay Homer Davis has advised that a major emergency clean-up project is being undertaken across the city starting today, Thursday, November 23.

This follows yesterday’s heavy rain across the parish which damaged a number of roadways and left some areas in downtown MoBay with piles of garbage and debris.

The Mayor also advised that a decision was also taken to close all schools across Montego Bay for today, following consultation with the Ministry of Education.

The clean-up exercise will be undertaken with support from a number of state agencies, including the National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA).
