Father Delivers Baby on Highway in Kansas – Video

A man sprang into action when his pregnant partner was about to give birth while they were in a vehicle on a highway. The man delivered his baby from the front seat of his car along the side of the road in Miami County, Kansas, United States.
After deputies arrived at the scene, a body camera captured the man removing his red shirt to wrap the newborn. In the footage, the man tells the deputy, “I just delivered my baby,” prompting the deputy to inquire if the infant is breathing.
The father gives an affirmative response, adding that the baby is cold. The bodycam also captures a glimpse of the mother holding her baby inside the car. However, the date of the incident is unknown.
The video, shared by Inside Edition, also shows a similar incident on May 21, 2023. Footage from a New Jersey State Police body camera captures a mother in labour on Interstate 287 in Somerset County.
The mother can be seen on her hands and knees on the side of the road, informing the officers that the baby is coming. The father can also be seen in the footage, and the officers delivered the baby shortly after 2:30 a.m.
