Five Hospitalised After Tree That Was “Cut For Protests” Falls On Car In St. Thomas

[Sharingbuttons]Five persons have been reportedly taken to hospital after a tree fell on the vehicle in which they were travelling on the Arcadia Road in St. Thomas.

The incident reportedly occurred at about 10 o’clock Tuesday morning.

A passenger in the car, Ramon Thompson, told RJR news, they were driving along the road when the tree fell on top of the vehicle.

One passenger sustained a cut on his arm while the others did not sustain any physical injuries.

reports are that the tree was cut for the protests and roadblocks taking place in the parish.
