As per initial reports by the Jamaica Constabulary Force, 3 men were shot and killed during a shootout with law enforcers on Sunday, November 10. However, CCTV footage shared online following the shooting shows what appears to be an execution-style killing of at least one of the men.
The incident took place along Winward Road which is located in Eastern Kingston at around 1:30 AM. According to the JCF, the men killed were wanted by the police, and pictures were subsequently shared online showing two of the three men flaunting pistols.
However, despite the background of the men, the footage that shows at least one of the shootings, shows a man running off before he was shot dead, a law-enforcer was seemingly shot in the process.
A week after the shooting on November 17, 2024, 2 JCF officers were charged with murder in connection with the fatal shooting of Oshane Stubbs, Orando Campbell, and Kayshawn Smith.
