French Montana’s Music Video Shoot Gets Shot up, at least 10 People Injured

A mass shooting outside a popular Miami Gardens restaurant resulted in the injuries of at least ten people during a video shoot for rapper French Montana that was taking place outside the restaurant. The Licking restaurant’s back parking lot was the location for French Montana and his production team video shoot in Miami Gardens on Thursday, owned by DJ Kahled, whose restaurant chain has multiple locations.

It was reported by Miami WSVN 7News, that at some point, at least one person opened fire and injured up to ten people. The police said that an altercation had begun at another location but ended up on the premises at the restaurant where the music video was taking place.

A Miami Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) member stated that emergency units were dispatched just before 8 p.m. ET in response to reports of a mass casualty incident in the area.

“Upon arrival, fire units found several patients suffering traumatic injuries. In addition to finding injured patients at the initial location, firefighters also encountered other injured patients outside of a fire station nearby,” emergency officials told CNN.

It’s Unclear whether or not French Montana got hit or injured during the shooting, a witness on the scene told TMZ that the rapper’s security team managed to get him away safely.
