Gardener Falls Into Pit And Disappears While Working In Coral Gardens, Montego Bay

A team from the Jamaica Fire Brigade is working to rescue a gardener who fell into a pit while working in the Coral Gardens community in Montego Bay, St James.

Reports from residents are that the gardener stepped on the cover of the pit whilst working and fell inside.

Since the incident, three loads of waste have allegedly been removed from the pit by cesspool operators.

The worker is feared to have died.
