Good Samaritans Save Woman After Suicide Attempt at Kingston Waterfront – Graphic Video
Two men rushed to the rescue of an unidentified woman at the Kingston Waterfront after she had allegedly tried to commit suicide.
In the video shared by Twitter user Leopold Stotch, two men can be seen desperately trying to resuscitate an unconscious woman. According to individuals in the recording, the woman attempted to commit suicide by throwing herself in what appeared to be the sea nearby but was pulled out by one of the men. Onlookers gather around the men as they attempt CPR; their persistence ultimately prevails, and she regains consciousness and is later carried away for medical treatment by the police.
The location of the incident was the Waterfront in Downtown Kingston, according to Stotch, they have lost count of how many suicide attempts are made there, and, in peak periods, it may average two per month and rarely cause an alarm. Stotch stated that the woman was the first to have ever been saved.
