A man was attacked and killed by an angry mob in St Ann on Monday after he was accused of being one of two men who shot and killed a resident of the community.
The deceased resident has been identified as 37-year-old Oshane Henry, a farmer of Lime street, Walkerswood.
According to police reports about 6 pm on Monday, Henry was walking along the roadway in his community, when he was attacked by two men who opened fire hitting him in his upper body and head.
Information reaching us is that the gunmen ran and was chased by bold residents who caught one of them. He was chopped and stoned to death while his crony escaped.
When the police arrived on the scene they recovered a 9mm pistol from the body of the dead gunman. He is yet to be identified.
