Veteran entertainers Harry Toddler and General B are feuding over the popular weekly event Boom Box Fridayz, which the two top artists co-created with a team.
The weekly party is a big platform that welcomes new and upcoming artistes plus the event has been greatly appreciated in the entertainment field. However, reggae singer Harry Toddler recently went on social media enraged that he is not being treated fairly where their management of the event is concerned. He accused General B of taking over the business and pushing him aside.
In the video, where Harry Toddler is seated in his vehicle, he addressed General B as a “Wicked Bwoy” who was trying to outsmart him. Adding that it was only last Sunday his so-called business partner started following him on social media, Harry went on to say General B was taking over Boom Box Fridays Instagram account, the YouTube channel and the bar at the event venue.
“Yuh wah control YouTube, Instagram, the bar, yuh wah control di bloodclaat money. Yuh wah control everything and a my bloodclaat money build it,” he said.
Harry also added that General B was not allowed to take their event overseas unless he was getting his percentage from the business.
“My youth don’t deal wid mi afta today and yuh cyah carry Boom Box gawh farrin les mi get mi percentage! True mi cyah guh merica. Don’t deal wid mi,” he stated irately, stressing that he and General B were no longer working together.
General B also took to social media, but sent a more subtle message on his Instagram page as he quoted Former Emperor of Ethiopia Haile Selassie on words that spoke about courage and humanity.
“We must become bigger than we have been: more courageous, greater in spirit, larger in outlook. We must become members of a new race, overcoming petty prejudice, owing our ultimate allegiance not to nations but to our fellow men within the human community,” the post read which had a picture of the former Emperor.
General B captioned the post, “Words from the king.”
