Dancehall artiste Jada Kingdom has been vocal in recent weeks about being featured on the flyer for an upcoming event in the UK without being correctly booked. As per Jada Kingdom, the promoter was refusing to take her off the show despite not being officially booked.
The event, titled ‘One World Music Festival’, was slated for July 20th, 2025, in the Wembley Arena, the show also was set to feature fellow Jamaican artiste Mr. Vegas.
Talking on the turn of events leading up to now, the promoter for the event, who goes by the name Shine Head, sent audio recordings to Mouta Massi. He detailed that he initially reached out to Jada’s manager after securing the venue and other smaller acts for the event.
As per Shine Head, Jada Kingdom’s manager who is called ‘Benny’ told him that it would have cost $ 60,000 USD to book the St. Thomas native, however, Shine Head explained that he negotiated the price down to $ 55,000 USD.
As per Shine Head, he agreed to pay Jada Kingdom in three different installments and proceeded to pay the first part of the sum. The promoter noted that the second payment was due on March 14.
Shine Head says he wanted to start promoting the event early, hence he told Jada’s manager that he would have paid before the 14th, however, he was unable to do so on time. After failing to pay as per the verbal agreed date, Shine Head says he was told by Jada’s manager that he needs to talk to his lawyer because he had breached the contract.
Furthermore, Shine Head says that the manager told him that he won’t get back the $ 22,000 USD that was initially paid.

Shine Head outlines that he will be taking legal steps starting this week, “What I’m about to do on Friday… we’re gonna go through all the paperwork… he says we breached one week, where is the damage?” He continued, “This show was set to advertise, but we got to pull the show.”
He went on to declare that he is now forced to take out an injunction against Jada Kingdom. “Is something I said I didn’t want to do, but unfortunately I don’t have no other choice but to take out an injunction… and the reason I want to take out an injunction on Jada Kingdom is because of Benny.”
“I don’t have no other choice… we tried to reach out to Benny and say come on there is a lot at stake here?” Shine Head also stated.
The promoter also talked about the added necessities of Jada Kingdom, including a detailed security personnel.
As a result of the happenings, Shine Head says he will be taking legal actions against ‘Benny’, furthermore, an injunction will be taken out against Jada Kingdom “That will damage her so bad more than that 20-add thousand US that your stupid manager hold on to… I don’t want to really do something like this,” Shine Head stated.
In his voicenote, Shine Head expressed that he is still reluctant to take legal actions against her which will likely prevent her from performing in the USA and UK. “look how serious this gone damage her career if yuh think a lie mi a tell… a it that, court we a go now!”
