Nas EBK, born to the name Nasir Valenzuela, has been participating in a series of YouTube pranks with random strangers that have been getting out of hand when the other party does not take kindly to the situation. In these instances, the rapper, instead of playing it off and admitting to the prank, also gets serious, resulting in arguments. This includes getting physical and backing his knife on a ShopRite employee during a prank.
The shooting that Nas has been arrested and charged for occurred last month at around 5:37 on February 9, 2023. He was pulling a prank involving a gun on 22-year-old Idressa Siby, when, reports state, that Siby was shot at the corner of 44gh Street in Times Square, New York.
The young man escaped from the area of the shooting, however, he passed out on the run and succumbed to his wounds at the Mt. Sinai West hospital. Nas was later arrested and charged.
