Footage circulating of dancehall artiste Jahshii seemingly receiving treatment for an unknown illness has sparked concerns among fans of the young entertainer. However, some have questioned the validity of the video.
The video comes during a melancholic period of Jahshii’s life and follows the burial of his brother, David Clarke. Clark was killed during a home invasion in September and laid to rest on Sunday.
On Friday, Jahshii shared a photo on his Instagram page of himself in a hospital room receiving intravenous therapy. The artiste also shared a video of him seemingly being treated with a closed wound drainage system and captioned the post with a quote from the Bible.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you or forsake you,” Jahshii wrote.
The Born Fighter deejay received get well soon wishes and prayers from fans and his fellow entertainers, including Valiant, Demarco, and Shaneil Muir.
“No weapon formed against you from the enemy shall prosper! God is with you! Stay prayed up and I pray for a healthy recovery and strength 🙌🏾♥️,” Shaneil wrote.
But some viewers of the video have questioned if Jahshii is actually ill or simply sharing behind-the-scenes shots of an upcoming music video. As the artiste has not yet provided details, the video and the photograph are open to viewers’ interpretations.
