Major Fire Guts Popular Restaurant Soso Seafood Bar and Grill in Corporate Area – Watch Video

During the early hours of Wednesday, a fire was seen blazing at Soso Seafood Bar & Grill, a popular go-to restaurant joint located on Chelsea Avenue, Kingston.

As firefighters converged to execute their duties, a large fire that was burning from somewhere within the establishment can be seen in video footage that has been circulating online.

According to the video, it appears that the firefighters were able to contain the blaze. Seeing that the fire was coming from one section of the building, the entire establishment was not engulfed in flames at that point in the short video.

However, there’s no doubt that the restaurant will be left with extensive damage due to the fire. At this time, there is no information as to what caused the fire and authorities are still investigating.

So-So Seafood Bar and Grill was established in 1996, but it has undergone significant changes since its opening.

Basically, initially, it was a tiny fish place at the back of the parking lot, where people would visit to have an alcoholic beverage and eat fried fish while their cars were being washed. After a few minor setbacks, the eatery found the right formula after gradually expanding.
