Manchester City Breezed Pass Bayern Munich 3-0 – Watch Highlights

As the UEFA Champions League boils down to the last eight, Manchester City, who has never won the competition, took on six-time champion Bayern Munich for a place in the Semis. The start of the first half saw quite a few clear-cut chances from the home side, with Haaland getting the best of those chances, while Gundogan saw his effort blocked by Sommer.

Rodri, however, got the breakthrough with a beautiful curler from outside the box that landed in the top corner to beat Sommer at full stretch in minute 27. Bayern had no clear opportunities as Man City dominated the first half thanks to some great work from Bernardo Rodri, Akanji, and Ake as City ended the first half with a 1-0 lead.

It was much of the same in the second half, with the home team dominating possession, after a perfect performance on the night Man City’s Bernardo Silva got his goal through a smart header from a delightful cross from Haaland in minute 70. Haaland then grabbed his seemingly mandatory goal in the 76th minute as Bayern Munich’s defense was left shredded, slumping to a 3-0 defeat in Manchester.
