Marcy Chin and Kaka Highflames Drop ‘Dip’ Music Video for Dancers in Dancehall

Ahead of their appearance at one of the summer’s most anticipated events, Reggae Sumfest, Marcy Chin and Kaka Highflames have released the music video for their collaborative track Dip. The Downsound Records produced track is aimed at the dancing enthusiasts in dancehall and Jamaica.

After first gaining popularity as a dancer, Kaka Highflames has slowly been growing a fanbase in Dancehall as an artiste and has been integrating both his talents to entertain fans. Like Kaka Highflames, Marcy Chin is known to integrate her own unique flavour into her music, which features both rap and Dancehall influences.

The young artistes are set to take to the stage this summer at Sumfest, and in true Jamaican Dancehall fashion, they have released a dance track ahead of the summer party season. Dip premiered on May 4 with its Xtreme Arts-directed visuals, which were partially shot in a laundromat.

Along with a smooth choreography routine, Marcy and Kaka deliver catchy lyrics on this lively Kunley Da Kulprit-created beat, with Marcy kicking off the song’s intro.

“Yow Kaka, mek wi claat dem hotta. Brand new bounce and di money get fatta. Load up di sling. Every body start falla. Chin City Highflames, mad dem wid da one yah,” Marcy deejays in the intro before Kaka delivers the song’s hook.

“Dip, rock suh. None a mi dog ano mascot. Conga drum, new style ano statue. Yuh betta dance. Yow Marcy yuh hot suh. Bounce, rock suh,” Kaka deejays.

Following its release over the weekend, Dip has so far acquired over 24,000 views.
