Mavado’s Son Vuitton Receives 8 Awards

It is a proud moment for Mavado, whose son has received 8 academic awards including two gold medals. The dancehall deejay shared a short video clip on Tuesday of his son holding up 6 certificates while the two medals are draped around his neck.

The youth proudly states that he has received 8 awards, which include a Certificate in Music, Principal’s Award Certificate, Principal’s Award gold medal and a gold medal for reading.

His mother, who was recording, expressed that she is proud of his achievements and they both do a victorious fist bump. Feeling just as proud, Mavado took to his Instagram page to praise his son, Vuitton, for his academic accomplishments.

Mavado, whose real name is David Brooks, shared the video with a caption that reads, “Congratulations my son you the man,” while adding praying hands emoji, a heart and the 100 emoji at the end.

The post has since received many praises and encouragement from fans who were happy to be a part of the delightful moment.

It was only a few weeks ago Mavado posted a highlight of his daughter younger Daisy and sent a belated happy birthday to his incarcerated son. In the birthday post where he is standing next to his oldest son, Dante Brooks, the singer pinned in the caption, “My big son his birthday was two days ago happy birthday son a just time and in god we trust”. As you recall, in 2021 Dante Brooks was sentenced to life in prison for the 2018 murder of Lorenzo Thomas.
