Morgan Heritage to Perform a Special Tribute for Peter Morgan in Barbados

Following his passing last month, the remaining members of the Reggae group Morgan Heritage will perform a special tribute for Peter Morgan in April.

Peter passed away reportedly from a stroke on February 25 and was later laid to rest in March, with his family and friends gathering in Orlando, Florida, U.S.A., for his memorial service. As Peter passed away while in the United States, a public viewing for fans of the beloved singer to show their support was also held there.

Following his burial, Morgan Heritage will be performing a special tribute for Peter in the Caribbean at Reggae in The Gardens on April 28 in Barbados. The tribute was announced on the official Morgan Heritage Instagram page on Monday, which said their legacy will continue.

“The Legacy continues as we pay tribute to our beloved Peetah Morgan. See you all in Barbados on April 28th at Reggae in The Gardens. It will be another Rockaz moment,” the announcement stated.

Morgan Heritage originally consisted of Gramps Morgan, Mr. Mojo Morgan, Lukes Morgan, Una Morgan, and Peter, who was the group’s lead singer. The group’s most recent members consisted of Peter, Gramps, and Mr. Mojo, who were featured on the poster shared in the announcement.

It is not yet clear if the remaining Morgan siblings will be joining their brothers on stage for the special tribute next month.
